Green Lake Area Half Marathon - Sunday, September 5th, 2010

Scenic, tree-lined race route that starts and finishes in the city of Green Lake, with several stretches along the shores of beautiful Green Lake. The run includes a tour of the lovely Green Lake Conference Center, which has many historic structures and extensive stone walls that date from the Victor and Jessie Lawson era in the early 1900s, as well as manicured golf courses. (It should be noted that, due to the incompletion of a new paved bike path, about ¼ mile of this route (in each direction) will probably be on a mowed path and/or wood chips.)
Weather/Refund Policy:
The 13dot1 Green Lake Half Marathon/5K Fun Run will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the race may be delayed or cancelled. If the race is cancelled there will be NO REFUNDS.
START TIMES:
Half Marathon Race - 8:00 am
5K Run/Walk - 8:15 am
Free Kids Run - 10:00 am
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Online registration closes on Friday, September 3rd at noon. Our offline registration form will be available to download until race day. Registration forms will also be available during packet pick up on Saturday from 4 pm to 7 pm, and on Sunday from 6 am until 7:15 am. To expedite the registration process, complete the form in advance.
THE STARTING LINE
for both Half Marathon and 5K is located directly in front of the Chamber Office near the waterfall in downtown Green Lake.
THE STARTING LINE
for the Youth race is the corner of Lake St. and South St.
THE FINISH LINE
for all three races is in front of Deacon Mills Park, located on the waterfront.
PACKET PICKUP will be available Saturday evening from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Sunday (Race Day) beginning at 6:00 - 7:00 am at the Green Lake City Hall Gym.
